  • Leírás: Documentary on the case of Gustl Mollath: After Mollath made grave accusations towards financial institute HypoVereinsbank regarding dirty money, a Bavarian court had him committed to a psychiatric ward for alleged delusions. The court's decision was also based on testimonials of Mollath's wife, who claimed that her husband had slashed car tires and had attacked her. The decision was heavily disputed, and caught a lot of public and media attention. Following a long judicial dispute, the institutionalization of Mollath was declared to be unlawful, yet at that point, he had already spent over seven years in the psychiatric ward. During the years of the trial, the filmmakers have frequently met with Gustl Mollath. They have also included statements from his supporters and adversaries, as well as from his former lawyer. The film explores the mechanisms that have led to the wrongful institutionalization while also addressing the question if some of the allegations made against Mollath were nevertheless just.
